Creating the upload task

The final task uploads the migrated files from the Local Workspace back to the TeamWork vault, overwriting the original copies, and unlocks them.

To create the upload task:

  1. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler, point to Create Task and click Custom Task. The Custom Task dialog box appears.
  2. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

Type BCUpload

Task Type

Select ICtools

Parameters

Type parameters using the following syntax:

/cmd Ul /list <TextFilePath> /log <LogFilePath>

TextFilePath should be the path to the file list that you created in Creating a source list. LogFilePath is the path to a log file that you want to contain the results of the migration. An example of these parameters would look like:

/cmd Ul /list “C:\Temp\Inventor List.txt” /log C:\Temp
  1. Schedule the task to occur when no other tasks are running and after the download and migration tasks.
  2. Click OK.
  3. Proceed by running the tasks as described in Running the tasks.
